Glow Necklaces: The Ideal Party Accessory

Every time I see glow necklaces I think of the great times I've had while wearing one. If you think they're just for kids, think again. Yes, times come to mind from childhood-wearing a glow necklace with my Halloween costumes, or sporting one walking around Disney World, but for the most part, I think of some of the wild parties I've been at in the last few years where glow necklaces were the only accessory that mattered.

I remember this one party last year. It was the wildest rave I'd ever been to. It was wall-to-wall people, everyone drinking, dancing, partying hard. You had to push your way through the crowds. In typical rave fashion, it was dark and loud, crazy techno music blaring, strobe lights here and there, the colored, irridescent swirls of glow sticks and glow necklaces all over the place.

I was there with my two best friends, Jeff and Stacy, but of course we got separated early in the dense fog of tightly-packed bodies. The thing about a party like that, though, is that you rarely care when you get separated from your group, because you know that, wherever they are, they're having a fabulous time, and you can just enjoy yourself alone, meet some new people, and find them later.

Such was the case here, and I ended up talking to this crazy couple next to me-well, as much as you can talk in a situation like that. They were pretty cool, and they gave me some stuff that had me tripping for the rest of the party, which lasted until early the next afternoon.

I did bump into Stacy and Jeff again after an hour or so, and spent the rest of the killer party with them. It was a night I will never forget.
